Chapter 17 - Web Exclusive
Note: I decided not to include this discussion in the book because I felt that their was was already too much "conversation" in those chapters. But I feel that are some important points addressed here.
Nathan then asked. “So 9/11 was planned by PNAC, influenced by the Oil Mafia, financed by the power holders of Wall Street, and carried out by the Pentagon?”
Daniel nodded his head. “It was carried out by the Pentagon, but 99% had no clue what they were doing. Just like you in writing the reports to the media--everyone was just following orders from the top. Only a select few had to know about PNAC’s plan to pull this off.” Daniel took a sip from his bottle of water. “Nathan, what was the Pentagon was like on the morning of 9/11?”
“Nothing too unusual. It was busy like normal.”
“It was very busy. The Pentagon was conducting 15 different military drills. Never before have so many simultaneous drills taken place.”
“What are you saying--the perpetrators of 9/11 knew they could pull of the “attacks” since the military would be distracted by these 15 drills?”
“Exactly. This explains why the U.S. Air Defense took no action on the hijacked that were flying off course in highly-restricted airspace. I have an audio recording of a NORAD flight controller who admits that he thought the hijacked planes were just part of a war game.”
“So if ‘Muslim hijackers’ did not execute the attacks, who did PNAC and PNAC’s “Pentagon planning committee” get to do it?”
“People who had no idea what they were doing.”
“What do you mean?”
“When you were in the Navy, were you ever involved in the military drills or ‘war games’?”
“Of course. We ran three or four every year.”
“Then you know that there is always one side who’s taking part in the drill, and there’s another side who’s playing the enemy. Did you even have to play the enemy?”
“Many times. We were basically actors who ran hostage situations, placed faked explosives on a ship--that kind of thing. I have to say, I was quite good at this. I could’ve gotten an Academy Award for the time I threatened to take over a ship.”
Daniel laughed briefly. “Well, several ‘military actors’ carried out 9/11. As a matter of fact, I know for a fact Mohamed Atta was one of them.”
“Atta? He’s the one the Pentagon labeled the ‘lead hijacker’ from the start.”
“In a sense, he was the lead hijacker. I saw him on the plane. He was actually sitting on the aisle next to me.” Daniel paused again to take a sip of his drink. “After doing some research, I found he was a CIA asset.”
“CIA asset? So he knew about the plot?”
“No. He was just a part of a drill. For example, the CIA probably told him that he would have to take over the plane after four Middle Eastern terrorist tried to hijack it.”
“Who were the four terrorists?”
“They were also patsies involved in U.S. intelligence. Each of them thought Atta was a terrorist.”
“I see what you’re saying--all five of them thought the other four were the ‘bad guys.’ Still, this does not answer how planes flew into the Twin Towers? Surely Atta was not stupid enough to punch the WTC coordinates into the cockpit.”
“They didn’t have to. Nowadays, with GPS technology, a nearby airbase can override a cockpit’s controls and fly the plane. All Atta had to do was to let air controllers take over the autopilot.” Daniel leaned back. “But I don’t know exactly how much Atta and the other so-called hijackers were involved. Part of this reason is that 2.5 terabytes of information regarding Atta was destroyed from the Pentagon. Nathan, do you know how much 2.5 terabytes is?”
“No, but I’m sure I computer genius like you could tell me.”
“That’d equal over five million books. Over a million mp3 files. You know your daughter’s iPod Nano--it would take approximately 650 of them to equal 2.5 terabytes.”
“Sounds like they destroyed everything possible that could’ve suggested Atta was connected to U.S. intelligence.”
“Destroying Atta’s trail was all they needed to cover up the whole thing. Since 9/11 was carried out by military drills, only PNAC and top Pentagon officials knew about it. If someone in the military came across a file that suggested ‘flying airplanes in the Twin Towers,’ the military official with ties to PNAC would just say: ‘That file deals with Operation Guardian. It’s top secret; you can’t look at it.’”
“When you think about it--the plan seems so simple.”
“It is. And the U.S. has been doing the same thing for years. You should type “Salem FBI 1993” into Google. You’ll see that the FBI misled another Middle Eastern man to carry out the World Trade Center bombing in 1993.”
