“Robert, what are you doing? You were in on this?”

“Don’t make this hard on me, Nathan. Give the backpack and tell me where those copies are located.”

“Under one condition…my son lives.”

Robert thought about it and nodded. “This can be arranged.” He shoved the gun firmer into Nathan’s chest. “Just tell me where the copies of this report are.”

“My son’s friend has the only two copies. They have them in the Ford Mustang that parked on the highway at the end of this path.”

NOTE: This isn't the complete altnate ending - I had three pages of extra material until my computer crashed.
The premise for my original alternate ending was to have Nathan willing to sacrifice his own life to make sure his children lived.
What do you think? Should therr have been more to Robert and Nathan's conversation in the woods.
