The American Truth

With the media reports of the execution and murder of Osama bin Laden, I thought I would share how Osama bin Laden was portrayed in The American Truth. I figured there would be a lot of people asking "Who was Osama bin Laden?" and "Is there more to Osama bin Laden that we do not know?"

Here is what I wrote in the book. I'd love to hear your feedback on your thoughts on Osama bin Laden.

"Who was Osama bin Laden? Good question." Daniel wrote

"He was not at all behind 9/11. Contrary to what is reported in the media, the U.S. actually has a good relationship with al-Qaeda. The U.S. has been secretly funding al-Qaeda operations for decades.
It is true that al-Qaeda is behind many of the world’s major terrorist attacks. The U.S. does not support these terrorist attacks, but by giving al-Qaeda money, al-Qaeda does not to attack the U.S. (“Don’t bite the hand that feeds you” philosophy).

Bin Laden and al-Qaeda were actually the perfect group to blame for 9/11. They were in the Middle East (makes PNAC happy by going to war there), plus they were Muslims who were already guilty of heinous crimes. Since the vast majority of Americans are Christians, having radical Muslims kill our innocent citizens was the ultimate act of hatred.
From movies and television, Americans have learned that there is always a “bad guy.” The U.S. government knows this psychological fact, and they made sure that the “bad guy” from 9/11 was the most heinous evil-villain that they could find. Osama bin Laden was the perfect character for the part.

A lot of people have asked me about Chapter 37 and why I ended it without having an explanation for what happened.

Basically, Nick had a run-in with one some members in the Skull and Bones group. I did not include the scene from this chapter that explains this because I hope to start here in the next book to The American Truth.

I'm planning to write a sequel to the American Truth that will have more of an emphasis on uncovering the truth behind "secret societies" like Skull & Bones. But first I doing my best to get word out about The American Truth so that I actually have readers who are interested in the subject. I hope you'll help me get information about The American Truth, so it will be worth my time to write at least one more book in the series.

In the mean time, I thought I'd provide a deeper explanation of some of the secret societies that I briefly mentioned at the end of The American Truth. As you'll read, there is plenty of information and rumors about the societies to make for another interesting and engaging story.

Secret Societies in The American Truth

Secret societies play a role in The American Truth since they are noted for being an influence behind the 9/11 attacks. The book gives the impression that members of secret societies would be the type to plot a cunning plan like a false flag terrorism event that they themselves would benefit from.

What are Secret Societies? Secret societies are relatively small groups in which membership is gained by initiation. Many of the groups practice ritual ceremonies with religious influences, particularly that of mysticism and Satanism. Many of the societies claim to be just a social club, but others speculate that these fraternities have a hidden agenda – such as gaining power within society or amassing large amounts of wealth.

Are the 9/11 Conspiracy Theories Outlandish?

Outlandish – that’s a word I hear often whendescribing the 9/11 Conspiracy Theories. But why is agreeing with some of these theories outlandish ? Why do so many have a negative connation with the words “Conspiracy Theory?”

Are the people that call the conspiracy theories "outlandish," saying that it is about thinking independently and questioning the information that is being presented to us? And certainly it’s not a stretch to suspect government members have initiated corrupt actions and policies. Throughout history, governments in every society have been riddled with corrupt individuals. It’s just human nature for individuals to want more of what they have. Employees demand higher wages and better conditions in the workplace; students demand more freedom in their studies and less of a burden in the form of homework, professional athletes constantly want better contracts with higher signing bonuses. Why is it wrong to suspect that politicians want more power? After all, power is one of the most addictive things in life; or as Henry Kissinger once said, “Power is the ultimate aphrodisiac.” (I’ll refrain from adding any negative comments about Kissinger’s political career). And don’t forget, politicians and other high-ranking government employees tend to be the determined and aggressive type that will go to any means to achieve their objectives.

In chapter 14, I introduced the topic of media control in Nathan’s conversation with a Time Magazine writer. While this conversation served no purpose in the overall plot, I felt like this was one of the “American Truths” that needed to be in the book. In this article, I wanted to go into more depth on the issue and whether the control of the media should be a concern.

It is said that over 90% of our media is controlled by seven media conglomerates. Over 95% is controlled by the top 12 firms. With the proliferation of media mergers and buyouts occurring today, the number of media companies is growing increasing smaller, and the top corporations are growing increasingly larger and more powerful. This trend can be seen in the decrease in the number major corporations in the U.S. Media. In 1983, it took more than fifty corporations just to make up a majority of U.S. media. Now, seven corporations own more than 90%.

The seven corporations are:
1. Time Warner
2. Disney
3. News Corp.
4. Bertelsmann AG
5. GE
6. CBS
7. Viacom

**Note: The list of assets controlled by these corporations goes well beyond the television channels and film studios associated with these groups. Personally, I was amazed to find out that these groups controlled hundreds of different media outlets including local television stations, book publishers, and magazines.
